Please Consider a Rescue !

Meet Amazona--or "Zona" for short. She has a website with lots of pics and info of her at www.dogster.com -- just type in "Amazona" and her profile will come up. She is a great dog who was given up because her family just had a baby and they live in a very small house--not much space for a big, exuberant dog and a curious soon-to-be crawler. Zona is very intelligent, well trained, but can be stubborn at times like most Ridgebacks are. She is very loyal and lovable. Like most Ridgebacks, she usually likes to just lay around and keep you company in whatever you're doing, and is low key. She loves children and has been around small nieces and nephews with no problem-- however Zona can be food aggressive. She is very gentle but she sometimes doesn't know her own size and strength and can knock someone off balance who is not paying attention.
